Position Overview:
The Lease Renewal Coordinator will be assisting the Resident Communications manager with the renewal process.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Distributing 90-60-30-day notices of lease expiration to Unit Owners/Asset Managers/Shareholder

Collecting and reviewing lease renewal applications, including reviewing lease agreements and all required documentation
Coordinate renewal communication with current residents
Tracking, communicating and reporting on all expired leases
Providing comprehensive reports to Resident Communication Manager, Owners, and Directors
Tracking and managing leasing restrictions based upon customer business directives
Inputting and tracking fees associated with late renewal submission, or non-renewal
Issuing Notice to vacate documentation to residents.
Inputting updated lease dates, rent amounts, and occupant's material changes into Simplifyy system
Communicating with the Resident Communication Manager on all requested lease negotiations
Obtaining and informing Unit Owners/ shareholders and tenants of board approval of their renewed lease Transitioning new properties under our management (creating renewal strategies and notices to be sent to unit owners, back-billing lease fees not charged by previous management)

Renewal Coordinator Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in Property Management, Real Estate, or multi-family leasing preferred
  • Attention to detail
  • More education or experience may be preferred.
  • Exceptional customer service, active listening, and verbal and written communication skills, professional phone voice.
  • Understanding of company products, services, and policies.
  • Proficiency with computers, and software
  • Ability to ask prying questions and diffuse tense situations
  • Strong time management and decision making skills.
  • Adaptability and accountability.
  • Fluency in multiple languages may be desired.
  • Ability to work some evenings, nights, weekends and national holidays
