Software Project Manager/QA Lead

Responsibilities for Project Manager

  • Understand project scope and objectives
  • Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner
  • Manage and track progress on tickets, sprints, and epics
  • Contribute to task estimation and sprint retrospectives
  • Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan
  • Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various departments about strategy, adjustments, and progress
  • Keeping informed on development progress and communicating expected deliverables
  • Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution
  • Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed
  • Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement
  • Document functional requirements
  • Document test cases
  • Perform user testing cases
  • Lead quality assurance efforts

Qualifications for Project Manager

  • 3+ years of project management and related experience
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification ideal
  • Proven ability to solve problems creatively
  • Strong familiarity with project management software tools (including Asana), methodologies, and best practices required
  • Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle
  • Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful
  • Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline
  • Comfortable documenting test cases and functional requirements

We are open to remote applicants, but some occasional travel to Kansas City, MO would be required.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary Range: $65,000 - $75,000
